Hi, I’m Cara
I’ve held a lot of different jobs. At the start of my career, I was juggling three at once—working as a line cook on a Neapolitan pizza food truck, creating content for a mall’s website, and writing about women’s workplace experiences at InHerSight. The last one stuck.
Today, I’m still with InHerSight, where I bring my passion for gender equity to the forefront. I’ve written 350+ articles on career development, job searching, and mental health—always with the goal of empowering women to build a career and life they love.
Outside of work, I create recipes and content for Tom & Jenny’s, write about yoga and wellness for ONEYOGAHOUSE, and write The Local Plate, a biweekly newsletter filled with approachable recipes, restaurant roundups, travel guides, and other personal musings.
